As the world navigates this new normal, workplaces are being reimagined and redefined to better serve the evolved needs of tenants and their employees. The desire for reconnection and emphasis on health and wellbeing are shaping the future of workplace and emphasizing the true impact of real estate, places, and space. Companies are rethinking what their workplace can offer employees in a way that provides collaborative experiences in spaces that feel inclusive, healthy, purposeful, and are designed for human interaction. The speaker will discuss:  redefining the workplace (hybrid, virtual, in-person), human-centered design (to promote health and wellbeing  -- air quality and ventilation, access to outdoors, lighting, energy efficiency, spaces designed to support mental and emotional wellbeing), and flexibility of space (existing buildings and offices can be reconfigured and converted into spaces that provide flexibility in how and where we work).
